Hi & Questions

Greetings, Wheelheads!

I'm Mathias. I play a C-2 and an L-102. I plan to get more Hammonds
(especially a C-3) but right now I don't have the space. I also
plan to get one of the new XB series and possibly the VOCE.

I really don't care about the cabinets and plan to cannibalize
any Hammonds I get and put them into portable cases. In fact,
I was thinking about the possibility of putting the keyboards
and the guts into separate cases.

Also, I am one of those people who don't really care for Leslies
all that much. Right now, I am using two Community Light and Sound
GGMs (PA bass bins). But I still need something for the top end.
I have also been contemplating going to guitar and bass cabs
with a bass or guitar amp.

However, there is one Leslie that I am interested in: the 950, the
one where two (or three) rotors spin vertically. If anyone sees one,
let me know.

Basically, I got into Hammonds because of Emerson. But I like many
other groups of that type: Triumverat, Focus, PFM, Le Orme, Wakeman,
UK/Jobson, Van der Graf Generator, and others.

Now to questions. Usually a list has three address: the list itself,
and address for subscribing or dropping and information, and a list
owner for problems, etc. So, where should someone send if they wish
to subscribe? And, is the list available in a digest format?

Also, notice of the list should be posted to other lists, such as
the ELP, Yes, Triumverat, In The Dead Of Night/UK, and Gibraltar mail lists;
and to newsgroups such as alt.music.progressive, etc.
