        Joey D. used to use the Voce DMI-64 live in addition to his B3 
rig.  I don't know if he used a controller or a MIDIfied Hammond, or what.  
When he terminated his endorsement deal with Hammond-Suzuki he told 
KEYBOARD that he thought the new stuff was OK but couldn't compare with the 
real thing.  Maybe he wasn't making enough bucks at the Grenwich Villiage 
gig to pay roadies to haul in his B3...

        By the way, he now records on the Muse label, a small independant, 
after being dropped from his deal with a major (Columbia?).  I see in the 
last note that his dad is now also recording for Muse.  Keep it in the 
family.  It seems that Joey's popularity has waned a bit of late.  That
sure isn't because his playing has slacked off!!!
