I ripped off Champlin's sets from "Turn Your Love Around" -and have
been playing them on the A-105 at Church -since about the middle of
September!

***HERE ARE MINE*** THey change at will...whatever mood strikes.

C3 chorus, FAST vibe on both top and bottom manuals, SECOND HARMONIC
on percussion (normal volume), built-in Leslies on the 105 are set
for full tremolo (fast mostly)...only slow Leslie settings I use are for
"Amazing Grace" and "Tis SO Sweet to Trust in Jesus" and several
more slow tunes...DRAWBARS???

760454861   806334562   860454861    865030578 ,---arch---->farthest right!

They are disabled with the touch of a finger (solos!!!!-reverse-colour keys).

I love to fool with 'em...!!!

***I do use THird harmonic on Percussion...but NOT OFTEN, as 3rd gives
me funky (the not-good-kinda sound) from the old beast ...which is around 30
years old...) sounds.

The Second Perc. setting disables a black draw...with the B-flat solo
enabled.

THIRD PERC...with the "B-natural" (top manual) disables the 2' white
drawbar.

(this told me by someone who's worked on Hammonds for 25 years...)

ALSO....

"For a full-rich, solid sound on Hammond, use more salt than pepper!"
        -Laurens....

ALSO FROM MY B3 TECH FRIEND: THE FIRST DRAW YOU SHOULD PULL/PUSH on
is the 8' white.
Build from there (in this order) for a ROCK SOLID sound:
8', 4', 2', 1', ...then yank on the browns..then blacks....fractional
draws give you the "hollow" sound.

T'S FAVORITE DRAWS..in order of preference:
8' white
16' brown
2' white
5 1/3' black (check me on the fractions, I don't have a B in front of me!)
16' brown's neighbor!!!

1' white....

Champlin's got an affinity for brown drawbars, which gives him the
hollow sound you hear on "Hearts in Trouble" which HE wrote for
"Days of Thunder"...
