[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] list discounts?
Hi all,
As this mailing list grows it may be possible to get preferred
customer discounts with certain vendor/dealers/shops by mentioning our
list. As I mentioned in my last message, as of this morning the list has
48 members across the US, Canada, and Europe, and we've been growing by a
few members each day. As list members we collectively represent a *very*
high density demographic of potential buyers of organ and related music
products and services.
The members of an internal Digital synth BBS made a discount
arrangement with some local and mail order dealers some years back (though
it's now defunct). When each of us negotiate deals with a
vendor/dealer/shop it can't hurt to ask if they would offer a discount to
our list.
I am willing to maintain a list of discounters, periodically
circulate it, furnish it on member request, and include it in the welcome
mail I send to new list members.
If you should talk to a vendor/dealer/shop that offers such a
discount send me:
o the name of the establishment
o what products/services they offer
o the extent and limits of the discount
o their phone number
o their geographic location
o the name of the person with whom you made the
arrangement
In return for offering the discount, the discounter would recieve
"free" advertising to our list members (when I periodically circulate the
list and send it to new list members). One might expect that such an
arrangement would be especially attractive to
mail-order vendors...
thanks,
Mark
