XB2 ROM upgrade from Pro Sound

        I just mail ordered the v2.0 XB2 ROM upgrade from Pro Sound in San 
Diego.  I have been widely quoted an installed price of $200 US for the 
upgrade and several sources say this is what Hammond is charging the dealers. 
 Yes and no.  Hammond apparently charges the dealers $195 but then refunds 
$50 when the old ROMs are returned.  Pro Sound (619) 583-7851 sold me the 
upgrade mail order for $195 + $10 shipping, but will credit my card $50 when 
I send them the old chip.  That means I get the upgrade kit for $155.  

        I dealt with the owner (name is Mike) who is also a Hammond player.  
He says he has another upgrade in stock, so if anyone is in the market for 
it, call (619) 583-7851, ask for Mike and tell him you heard about it on the 
internet.

        And by the way, he quoted me $780 US for the EV/Dynacord DLS
223.  A steeply priced unit ($1190 list) but I heard this unit is
superior to any of the other Leslie simulators.  Love to hear one for
myself!  He didn't know about the upgrade to DLS 300.
