        Too much traffic is a very hard thing to quantify.  As I've said, 
we've already lost several people who thought there is too much traffic on 
the list NOW.  The definition of "too much" is a personal thing, as most 
married people can tellya ;-).

        Besides, I believe that Gilles has already created and announced the 
artist group, so it's too late to not split.

        I have no idea what it means to create a newsgroup and no desire to 
do the work to findout; I just have no time or effort left over for it.  
Someone said he'd investigate that and so if someone wants to take over 
whatever admin is needed for a newsgroup, I'd consider supporting it.
