As a relatively recent (and so far, quiet) subscriber, I agree wholeheartedly
with the idea of separate lists. 

I was on PIPEORG-L for a while until they seemed to be having an identity
crisis over this very matter. Organs are different things to different
people. IMHO the major division is not so much brands, models, the music, etc
as ART vs SCIENCE. 

On PIPORG-L it amazed me how intolerant the 2 'sides' were. I have no
personal objections to reading traffic from both sides, but to stave off a
future identity crisis, it sounds like a healthy idea.
