I had the exact same thoughts yesterday!  Do it, Dave.  _DO_ it!  I'd love
to buy American, and high quality at that.  

The only complication, I think, is that most, if not all, keyboard 
sub-assemblies
are foreign - most notably Fatar.  Ideally (getting excited again), you could
get a semi-weighted, square end keys jobby that feels like Hammond's did.
Oh....that would just be too good!
