        That's a great question that I would like to apply to my Porta-B 
as well. Since the pedalboard is only an octave and I play in a 
six-piece, I only use it sparingly. I'm thinking aboult rebuilding the 
bottom half of my unit anyway. If I could use the pedal generator on my 
lower manual (which has no stops lower than 8 ',) it would drastically 
change my plans.
