PRO-3 Delivery

I saw the comment from Craig Avery about who was getting
the first PRO-3's (Endorsement Bands, and high profile ect). The fact is
that they are going out in sequence of order with only two exceptions
that I am aware of; John Carroll of Mary Chapin Carpenter- claimed he
would use a PRO-3 on the Tonight Show 6/8/91- that recently changed to an
appearance at the "Greek Theater in LA" second week in June, and Mark Vail of
Keyboard- who is using a production PRO-3 as part of his evaluation of the new
organ modules. He refuses to send it back to us (He took it to a JAM in LA
weekend 5/27,loves it !) and will not wait his turn in line to get one !!
( OK OK, you guys can yell at me all you want but we can't turn
down this level of publicity). Some bands, the Doobies- Tower of Power,
placed orders for PRO-3's at the Anaheim NAMM or shortly thereafter and are
waiting just like everyone else. Production is currently running and ramping
up - all of the first shipment, about 100, will have left by june 16 (not
'96). I'm sure some frustrated rotor head would have nailed me with that !!

                        One more thing,
How many of you would like to use the connector (is it 11 pin ?) on
an XB-2 as the signal send and speed control to a PRO-3 instead of the 1/4
inch wich forces use of a external speed control ? (A footswith comes
with the PRO-3). An adapter is being considered if there is enough demand.
I recall Mark Longo commenting that not all funtions are available
at the 1/4" sends, wich is another reason to use the 11 pin.
