[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] Pro-3 Question
Stewart:
The production Pro-3 does come with a double footswith as you have
stated. The distortion (lableled "Limiter") is a soft clipping ceiling type
circuit that does nothing if the drive signal is below it's setting. As
you move the control towards "10", the effect comes on sooner and the
clipping becomes steeper (ratier), sort of like a 5 watt leslie. A number
of studio folks asked for that at NAMM.
The following controls are available to the user internally, the
owners guide shows how to access them. There is also a belt kit available
to vary the horn acceleration-decceleration above and below default.
(that of a used 147).
1. Horn slow speed
2. Horn fast speed
3. Low rotor slow speed
4. Low rotor fast speed
5. Low rotor effect center
6. Low rotor LR Balance
Low rotor acceleration and deceleration changes require changing
pc board components.
MARK, AL:
I surely don't want to give the impression of snubbing AL
and his obviously well respected company. We only have one PRO-3 that is
available for evaluation at this time, and it is in the hands of Mark
Vail of Keyboard as part of an organ module evaluation. I beleive that Goff
Professional is going to supply a 122 for the same test, maybe some "talk"
will come from that about the real thing and the PRO-3.
I will bring up the issue of a"loaner" for AL to evaluate again--
(if we could just get the one back from Keyboard)-- The problem is you guy's
want me to send one to GOFF, as long as it's not yours !
-- Now if Al would just trade me 3 B3's and 3 122's for a PRO-3--
I'D steal one in the dead of night and *********
Sincerely John F MS
