hardware problems delay list delivery...

        HI folks,

        I had some hardware problems last saturday which I didn't discover 
until 
today (I was off work for a very long weekend).  Consequently, the weekend's 
mail delivery has been delayed until now, but hopefully everything sent over 
the 
weekend will get delivered today.  Sorry for this.

        I plan to put the list up on a majordomo list server later this week, 
which will smooth out list operations considerably, automate most list admin, 
save people who post to the list from receiving "Mail undelivered" sorts of 
messages, and also insulate the list from the sorts of interruptions we had 
this 
weekend.  When I do this the list address will change slightly.  I'll send more 
info later.
