The X5 is a "not bad" 70's organ. It was made by HAMMOND-Nihon, the Japanese
subsidiary at that time. It has two 61-note manuals, a real good lower
manual left-hand bass option, drawbars, percussion, 13-pedals, etc. The
pedal section can be modified to NOT be necessary by jumping out a pin or two
in the multi-pin plug connector. The X5 sounds especially good through a
tube amp Leslie, models 122. 147, etc.

The single manual version is the X2, and is a waste of time.

If it works, pay no more than $500 - $600 for it. If it has problems, walk
away, as the power supplies are notorious for crapping out; plus the most
common problem in these older units is mouse / rodent damage, which can NEVER
be repaired. Once their uric acid in the urine starts eating the boards, it
curtains!

Let me know what you find! I can possibly copy the original service manual,
but it is a pain in the a**.
