Regarding Amplifier Schematics; benoit@optron.optron.ingr.com (Paul Benoit) adds: > polished schematic tracer but it seems that the reverb in the "RV" > models has a separate circuit and speaker system for this > effect. Can I assume that the reverberated signal never reaches > the rotors but just to the oval speakers? Is the signal a pure > reverb with no mix from the original signal to the oval speakers? the reverb is, as you have noticed, routed to separate fixed speakers in these models. i would be interested in knowing the difference in reverb quality for the two approaches. leslie could have added reverb to the signal routed to the rotors but chose instead to route it to separate speakers. i would expect the unit with the separate reverb speakers to sound better, cuz the reverb signal wouldn't be going thru the whirling things, though this is pure speculation. perhaps someone can give us a subjective report of the difference in sound between the two approaches. brad baker bpb@cca.rockwell.com
