My suggestion is to by a Pre-amp combo pedal for your 145.  Then by an XB-2
and supplement it with something like a Emu portable piano module.  There are
better piano modules but this one has been around and you can get it cheap.
 You might find a Korg CX-3 that might be cheaper than the XB-2, but it's too
old for MIDI.
