[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] The Moose Lodge gig
Last night my classic rock cover band played a 40th birthday party at a Moose Lodge. I have no clue about what the Mooses do except that they live in a world that looks remarkably like 1956, and they can operate a ratty bar that looks just like an ordinary alcoholic dive not run by a "Fraternal Family Organization". With this said, I must admit that there were four things about the hall that were special: a B3, two (!) 122s, and a giant stuffed moosehead hanging just over the drummer's cymbals. I sat there drooling onto my XB2 and 302. What does the "Supreme Mooseheart" do with his B3? -- David Chertock ap412@lafn.org Fearful Earful Recording 310-285-3098 P.O.
