I've just read Tom's account of replacing the RC components on his early B3.

My beast was made around '58 and is definitely a candidate for such an
up-grade.  My early career was in electronics and I worked on all manner of
valve (glass tube) equipment.  So I have all the skills.  But I've got lazy
and have put off this exercise for several years.  But thanks to Tom, I
think I'll get off my butt and get soldering!!
