Winston Walls/B3

So I stumbled into Winston Walls' Boss of the B3 disk the other day.

That boy is mega-BAD (in the funkuvian sense).

Get this disk.  The liner notes alone are worth the price of admission
(especially the story about the feud between Walls and Jack McDuff,
hauling their axes through town in big black hearses and taking
potshots at one another...)

The question is (techie hat on) in one of the cuts one can clearly
hear pitch bending out of Walls' instrument.  Anyone know what he's
doing?  Sounds like he's dragging a finger on the flywheel or
something like that....  It sez that his B3 is "specially
modified"--do any of the pros know what that means?
