Re: Rhodes Piano

Well, I have a question I'm dying to ask, and it's kind of related
to Hammonds in a convoluted sort of way, seeing as it deal with Voce.

I saw a flyer the other day that advertised a Voce electric piano
module. Has anyone heard this? I want to know if it has good Rhodes
and Wurlie sounds, but I can't seem to find anyone in the area that
has one.

Obligatory comment: I've been gigging with the Pro-3 for a couple
months now. It is kick ass and I love it over my Dynachord CLS222.
My original driver got a few cracks in it (what a gritty sound), but
Motion Sound sent me their new and improved one. I haven't blown
it yet. In addition, I performed the cut-n-slash-n-solder mods and
it does indeed seem to sound a bit warmer. Maybe it's psychological,
but I like it better nonetheless.

The only wierd thing about the Pro-3 is that I now have to talk to
every drunken Tom, Dick, and Harry who want to know what that spinning
thing is. JohnF, can you make these things appeal to cute looking
chicky poos rather than gear heads? Maybe a day glow pink horn with
a black light?
