[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] Re: rotosonic
If I'm not mistaken, the rotosonic drum concept reverts back to Don Leslie's original idea, which was to put an actual speaker inside of a rotating drum, as opposed to the drum rotating below a mounted speaker. Don Leslie believes this is still the best way of achieving the "Leslie" sound. I think most rotosonic drums have a 6x9 or two inside of the rotating drum. I believe the 710 has a solid state 90 watt amp, 1 6x9" speaker in the drum, the usual horn and 1 15" speaker, and maybe 2 stationary 6x9's. It's a 2 channel amp. If this is bogus info, maybe someone will correct me, but I think it's close.........oh yeah, it's a 9 pin...... Unless it's a killer price, may be better to walk
