>The Leslie ROTOSONIC is a drum with a 6 X 9 speaker connected to the
amplifier by a mercury contact called a MERCOTAC. It has been used
internally in some organs, as the only rotor in some models, i.e. 700, 705
and in combination with the usual horns as a rotory channel and a 15" and 6
x 9's or 8" in some other models, 710 720, 722,315, 415 etc. Don't be to
quick to condemn the solid state amplifiers - They are really not too bad at
all. (Apologies to all tube purists). The rotosonic is only good down to
about 150 hz, so dumping the output of a Hammond into the rotory channel
WILL puke!

We will soon have available an adaptor to directly connect the 710, as well
as most other models, directly to a Hammond equipped with D.C. tremolo
control. It provides for diverting all frequencies below 150hz to the
Stationary channel, all above to the rotors and interfaces the D.C. trem.
control to 9 pin, 11 pin and 147 configurations.

You would be suprized to hear a 710 or 720 so connected. - Not exactly a
122, but damn good. Feel free to Email me directly for status of our projects.
