Hey Wait A Minute!! We can't let 1 year anniversary of the list pass by without so much as a "Thanks and Well Done" to Mark Longo. His initiative and silent effort is what started this list and has kept it going. Through the postings to this list I've met (and have pestered) many of this niche industries' most knowledgeable people, have met and conversed with talented players, and from them have learned far more arcane trivia, tricks and tips, both technical and technique, then I ever could have gleaned from other sources. This mailing list has been, and continues to be, such a pleasant alternative to the Usenet and the newsgroups. The people on this list have been, on the whole, remarkably tolerant and helpful. This mailing list is what the Usenet was like back before it began its downward spiral into spamming and broadcast advertisements etc.. I've attached the first official posting I received from Mark through the list. It took Mark a bit more work to really get things rolling, but this was the first official posting I received.
