Re: List Annivesary - Accolades to Mark

Thanks for the good words Brad. Hard to believe it's been a year.
We've gone from 18 Joes on a mail alias to 230-odd people world-wide including
many expert repair/rebuild people, gear vendors, and players of all levels and
tastes.

The classy people who make up this list have made it the excellent
forum
we enjoy. Considering the large readership this list has, the goodwill,
positive energy, and encouragement displayed by the contributors is amazing.
This list has a far better signal-to-noise ratio than any of the many internet
and private net forums I've read over many years in the computer business.
You're a very classy bunch of folks, thanks for being that way!

And we have a FAQ that surely must rival or surpass any such document
about the Hammond in existence. I recently heard from Hammond-Suzuki by phone,
and after telling me that they were at first VERY concerned about us renegades
on the net possibly spreading misinformation about vintage Hammond gear, they
said that after carefully reading the FAQ that they are delighted that such
amazingly knowledgable people are out here sharing information!

This is the Internet at it's best. Thanks to you all!

        Mark
