I feel compelled to divert the group from our stated interest for just a
moment.

I'm ashamed that someone would launch a personal attack against someone who,
in my mind, committed no offense.  That is, unless you consider participation
offensive.  Perhaps Tim (tim59@aol.com) pointed out the correct solution
while executing his attack...if you have no interest in reading a particular
party's postings, delete them or filter them out before reading.  It's really
very simple and quite a bit more mannerly.  Other than this despicable
incident, this group has been a valuable and enjoyable resource.  Let's not
diminish that value and enjoyment for others.
