The PUCK is a fully gasketed, machined aluminum adaptor plate which
replaces the stock OEM driver used in the most popular Leslie speaker
cabinets, (models include 122, 147/145, 251, 31H, and more), and accepts
*any* standard 1-3/8" threaded compression driver.  Note: the original
casting which supports the horn bushing, and into which the original
driver was installed, must be present.  The PUCK comes complete with
mounting hardware, and installs in minutes.  Benefits of the PUCK include:

* Replace aging OEM driver, which are now out of production and scarce. 
Many have   developed warped diaphragms, causing distortion and buzzing.

* Improved high end response with recommended replacement driver yields
brighter,  
  louder Leslie without changing the stock amplifier.  We use the Atlas
PD-60 16-ohm 
  driver with a stock (40 W. tube) Leslie amp, and the University Sound
1824S 8-ohm
  driver in solid-state applications.  Both units are high power, full
range drivers capable
   of handling the wide frequency spectrum demanded of them by the
relatively low
   Leslie crossover point.

* Driver flexibility.  Allows matching driver power rating and impedance
to the desired
   amplifier for custom Leslie modifications; higher power, bi-amped, or
solid-state 
   applications.
