The 145 is a single-ended input with audio on pin 6 and ground on pin 1. Its not a good idea to mix apples and oranges. Would suggest that you rebuild the front end of the 147 to make it balanced. Just duplicate what's in the 122. We make a triac relay motor controller that will take the place of the vacumn tube and relay switching circuit.
