Walt,

The 122 is a balanced input with audio on pins 1 and 6 and ground on pin 2.
The 145 is a single-ended input with audio on pin 6 and ground on pin 1.

Its not a good idea to mix apples and oranges. Would suggest that you rebuild
the front end of the 147 to make it balanced. Just duplicate what's in the
122. We make a triac relay motor controller that will take the place of the
vacumn tube and relay switching circuit. Installs in the no longer needed
relay hole and eliminates switching noise and relay maintenance.
