Re: Voce DMI-64 Mark II



        I haven't owned a DMI-64 MK II so the following is by reputation only.  
I have heard that in it's day the DMI-64 was a decent sounding unit, but that 
the newer Voce Micro-B II sounded better, and that the newer still Voce V-3 
sounds even better.  I guess that Voce is getting better and better at this 
Hammond clone thing.  You should be able to find a second hand Micro B for 
$200-300 US, I'd think.  Out of curiousity, how much is being asked for the 
DMI-64?

        Also, the DMI-64 is somewhat programmable, though many people 
complained 
about it's poor user interface, though I believe Voce offered a window-based 
utility for programming it for both the Mac and PC.
