Ben- I looked at a V3 last week in a music store ($860 new) and
noticed that the case gets VERY warm, and it was in a rack all by
itself not connected to a 122. It's not clear if you did indeed
connect a 122 to a V3.  If so did you notice any heat problems?  Your
comment on the need for additional preamp boosting should also be
noted.  How much weaker was it than with a B3/122 combo?  The
conclusion might be that the 6 pin leslie connector is useless if you
have to first route to a preamp (pedal) then to the Leslie.  Would
appreciate your elaboration on your actual experiences with a V3/122
setup.  Thanks.  Steve B.
