list mail volume

        Hi folks,

        There's been a lot of stimulating discussion on the list lately, which 
is good to see.  This list can be both a source of technical information, and 
also a forum for expressing opinions about hammond music, technique, etc., 
which 
is good for us all.  Obviously not everyone agrees with everyone else on 
everything, which is what makes life interesting.

        As the list membership increases (now at 294) so does the volume of 
e-mail we all see, and it can be a little hard to get through.  As I say above, 
it's good that people on the list are expressing themselves freely, but if you 
find yourself repeating the same idea, please make your direct replies using 
private e-mail.  This saves the many of us on the list time, and in many cases, 
money.
