Short, sweet, and to the point! I couldn't agree more. I learned Bach
on a Hammond, I played cheesy standards for my parents on a Hammond, I
played Jazz and Rock on a Hammond, and am currently playing Blues (GASP!)
on a Hammond ("OH MY GOD - he should be playing an out of tune, broken
upright piano to get that traditional Chicago sound"). I do draw the
line when my wife wants to play 'Tammy' (only song she knows) on my
Hammond.
As far as opinions about music are concerned, a good friend of mine summed
it up like this - "Opinions are like a**holes; some are bigger that others,
and sometimes people have more than one".
While I enjoyed this thread in the beginning, I would personally like to
see an end to this. We are here to discuss Hammonds (et al), not musical
taste.
