I have absolutely no business making an endorsement but, I was playing my B-3 last night and can't get over how thrilled I am about the sound since putting in the Goff Professional replacement capacitors on the tone generator. My rig is best estimated to be a '57 and had always sounded a little dull to me. Though it takes a bit of work and patience to install the new capacitors, I can't say enough about the wonderful difference it made! I only wish I'd thought about it or known about the possibility 15 years ago. If you play in a live situation and are having a struggle cutting through, I'd recommend giving the idea some serious thought. It's the best $90 I ever spent! I know others prefer the mellower sound of a well aged Hammond and, if you like the sound of your rig, of course, leave it alone. But, if you'd like to restore a brighter, more ballsy sound, those new caps work wonders! Frank Grabner Fgrabner@ELDEC.COM
