I'm interested in this too. I opened up my TREK II with the idea of
adding a momentary push switch (I don't like the loud click and the
locking Leslie footswitch on the TREK II). I'm fairly handy with a
soldering iron, but when I saw all the wires and stuff hanging on that
footswitch I put the screws back in the case and put the idea on the
"back burner". Maybe TREK II has a mod for the combo preamp?
