[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] Re: Leslie stuck on high
It appears that the source of this particular problem has been = identified, in this instance, but let me add my two cents in case anyone = runs into it on the road. As I mentioned in a post a few weeks ago, one = manifestation of insufficient line voltage during a gig I had many years = ago was that my Leslie would not switch speeds. Turned out the wall = outlet my rig was plugged into measured 85V. Fortunately, I had shut = everything off soon enough to avoid damage, but if your Leslie won't = switch speeds (on a power source with which you have no previous = experience), shut down FIRST and ask questions later. The bass player = concurrently thought the answer to his symptom (low volume) was to crank = it up, and he fried his amp (to match his brain). Alan Reddig
