For inspiration, an article in an early 1969 issue of Hammond Times shows them building X-66's. Email me direct if you would like to see the article. On a similar note, I just played the first X-77 ever sold in the State of Montana back in about '68 (I know, BFD). It was willed to a friend of mine, here in the Bay Area, by her mother. It's been sitting idle in my friend's living room since it's delivery last fall because she didn't know how to hook it up. The 9-pin cable had been snipped off at the Custom (and beautifully massive) Leslie cabinet. I resoldered each wire (very carefully) and fired it up. I started playing a few chords and pulling drawbars when I realized my friend was in tears. She said the Hammond/Leslie sound brought back vivid memories of her mother at the organ. None the less, she was happy that the organ was "alive" again as was, even more, the spirit of her mother. Steve in Berkeley
