I went around and around with Dave at Voce on this a few weeks ago. Tried
adding caps here and there and the problem wouldnt go away. It was definately
brought on by using the percussion. If you didnt use percussion........NO
PROBLEM. 

NOT TO WORRY... The chip definately fixes the problem.
