it seems that every time i post something to the list, it's this:

i use a fender bassman 100, which is a two channel mono amp.. it uses 4
6l6's and it gives a nice, clean sound, and i can only turn it up to 2 in
my apt.. i use it with my leslie 120, which is bottom-rotor only, but it
sounds killer.. i use a little pre-amp gain to distort the 12ax7's, but
haven't actually tried to distort the woofer.. however, i can get it up
as loud as i possibly can stand without any distortion at all, if i
want.. of course, this is all opposite what you're looking for, but the
highs come out very bright (i'm using a jbl 12") regardless.. for what i
paid, i'm quite pleased..
