Nope. I wrote off Radio Shack years ago.... If you're not buying a cellular or some manner of BOOM gear for your car - then they (at least BOTH of the local stores here) haven't got time to wait on you. I _used_ to do a couple thousand a year with them in parts, small recorders, etc. --- After a particularly unpleasant experience in the local Mall Radio Shack - I haven't been back - Re: Tube testers: I've got a Hickok made military TV-10 - which is an excellent mutual conductance type - they can (usually) be found for $75 to $100 in good working condition - try Fair Radio in Lima Ohio: 419-223-2196. I've also got a B&K DynaJet 707 which is a medium quality mutual tester that does the newer tubes (like compactrons and nuvistors).
