no, it's none of the above, and it's only with Gene Stopp's mailings.. i
don't miss the posts, so i haven't deleted them.. it's not mail because it
happens with all clients i have (smtp or even pop3).. it's not the server
here (i think) because i get everything else just fine.. the last two
posts Gene sent to the list have included the replied message, but no new
text at all, and i was merely wondering if anyone else received the same
thing.. i'll check the digests and see if new text is present there..

once again - the problem is not with the list or anything other than
Gene's posts..

Gene didn't write any of that about Jon Lord, it was in a message
originally by Scott E. Shuster, however, this one was sent by Gene..

as you can see, this was sent by Al Goff, referencing gene, and i assume
why he replied, but no message body from Gene..

what i'm asking is if anyone else on the list received a message from
Gene with text *by* Gene in it..

i don't think so because of this:

again, as you can see, James L. McGill replies to Gene, but quotes Al's
message.. since he quoted no new `Gene' material, i assume (perhaps
incorrectly) that everyone on the list is receiving messages from gene
with no new content, only reply quotes..

no big deal, i just thought - i dunno.. maybe i think too much about
these things..
