I play a XB2 into a 145, however I don't get hum. I don't think a 1147 kit will neccesarily solve your problem - but I'm no tech. I have had problems occaisonally with noisy amps and have recently discovered something interesting . Changing wall sockets, even when the line is connected to the same circut, can quite down a "problem" amp I have (bad new power tranformer). I take it for granted that you reversed the polarity on the 147 - but you may try another socket - it sounds like voodoo but it works at my house. -- David Chertock ap412@lafn.org Fearful Earful Recording 310-285-3098 P.O.
