[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] Grolnick
Hi fellas...
Does anyone have details on the passing of Don Grolnick? Man, I was
shocked
and saddened to hear it. I've been listening to Grolnick since the late '60's
when I
first heard him with a band called "Dreams"with Will Lee, John Abercrombie,
The Brecker Bros. and Billy Cobham. As an arranger he was unsurpassed. As a
player he was as inventive as any. (Check his solo CD called "Nightown")
He could play many styles, and I dug him on all of James Taylor's stuff.
He will be missed...
Spinnin'em Loud and Proud in Nashville,
