Dear David, When I just had my M102, it sometimes had starting problems. These were due to an immense amount of DIRT, old oil and wood particles or sawing dust from a huge table saw in which vicinity the organ had been wasting time for over a year. (I actually found it in those workshops with the generator itself covered with half an inch of this dirt....) So... this dirt was on the start motor, its engagement clutch and the clutch spring. So that's why my start motor didn't do much engaging anymore. Take a look at the 'Historical files' for the proper choice of cleaner, if yours turns out to be dirty as well. On this board, I cannot tell you that I use plain Gasoline for jobs like these!
