As far as I can see, the presets remained the same.  The matching
transformer taps were changed at one point ( Starting with BV/CV etc.) and
the presets have to be modified as follows:

Any preset wire, or drawbar setting, to taps 1, 2 or 3, must be moved one
step higher i.e. 00 3543 111 would become 00 4544 222.

The revision of these taps may account for the differences you notice.  I'm
not sure if Hammond incorperated these changes in production.
