Make sure the pinion on the generator mainshaft moves very freely.  A bit of
solvent and oil helps.

The end plate that the start motor mounts on may have become distorted.  If
you moved the organ without locking the generator, this is likely.  It can
be a frustrating task to get the plate and motor aligned again correctly,
but persevere - it can be done.
