The A-100 came in several cabinets. One, the A-101 won an award for
furniture design in I believe 1963 or 64. I don't find the cabinets ugly at
all with two exceptions: The A-102, Cherry French Provincial and A-143,
Maple early American are a bit much for most people with any taste.
$3,200.00 with a 147 is a tad pricey, but if it's pristine physically,
electrically and mechanically and you like it, go for it. Retail dealers in
this area would get more than that.
