That's neat - thanks for the bit of trivia!  :-)

I believe he's using the XB-2/C-3 combo at the beginning of "Tarkus" from 
the _Live at the Royal Albert Hall_ CD.  Great playing on that disc.

On another Emerson note, does anyone have any idea how his monster 
Hammond rig on the "Brain Salad Surgery" tour was set up?  He had these 
huge Leslies that kinda looked like converted 31H's, some 122's or 
thereabouts, Hiwatt amps, and the C-3 & L-100.  My gosh, what a rig!  
That had to have been painfully loud standing right in front of that 
dangerous wall-o-Leslies!  :-)

I always wondered at that rig...it sounded awesome on that "Welcome Back 
My Friends" live CD set (originally a 3-LP deal...cool photo of KE's rig 
of doom in it!)
