Re: Wanted: Web link to A100

I am a A-100 owner. It is a complete B-3/C-3 clone,all percussion and
chorusing intact, but with added power amplifiers so a leslie is not
required, and a reverb. They were sometimes used as home organs, which means
they are in great shape. You can just disable the internal power amplifier
an hook it into a leslie, if you have the electronics chops. In my opinion,
the A-100 is the best value on the market. However, where I live (near
Boston), an A-100 goes for about $1200 ( in questionable condition, I have no
idea about dealer prices) and a Leslie 147 for I guess around $1,000. So
unless things are rare by you, I'd say your being overcharged for this
package. I'm a cheap ******, so I would actually wait until an A-100 came
into advertisements cheap. Look in papers where people sell "home" organs,
and sometimes the sellers don't realize how cool they are, and they can go
for as low as $400 ;-D

And, the power amp makes a great general purpose tube amp, for instance a
guitar through a tube preamp may be sent through it.
