 Thanks for the reply. 
   I found both the 5Z3 tubes (power supply) were bad. I patched in a couple
of diodes and got B+ fired back up again. Patched the B+ to the pre-amp
and it came on-line. So looks like I'll need a couple of tubes (unless I
leave the diodes in) and a cable and I'll be cool. (I'll think so , anyway.)
 What's the deal on a recone job on an electromag? Where'd you get yours
done? Is it more than a normal speaker?
