Yeah - turn the Leslie off while you change position ;-)
(tho' if you're quick, you can dive in and out with the leslie on slow...)

Personally I favour the smallest spindle, which gives the slowest rotor
speed - I feel that this gives more 'swirl' on slow, and a richer tremelo
on fast.
