I would love to have the Oakland Chop as my design. As I would work this organ, I would opt for a less pristine finish...I would go for tolex or carpet. The veneer would be too fine for me, and I'd cry at the first scratch. I would gladly buy the plans and the parts for assembly here. My local cabinet guru would love to work on something like this. I dig the fold-up legs. Remember the old RMI Electric piano?!? Those of you that have viewed the jpegs...does there seem to be significant re-wiring of the TG. The case seems narrow and deep, suggesting to me the TG is sitting more behind the manuals than under them. The only thing I'd need outside of what I saw would be a cover for the keys.
