Yes i have an M-3 that i have recently done the modification you mention to. I took an ordinary metal light switch box that you are supposed to mount into a wall and turned it upside down. I out a togggle switch through one of the punch outs on tha back of the box and a 1/4 inch female jack on the side and mounted it inside next to the amp. The whole thing costs about $5.00 and what it does is if the switch is in one position the internal speaker is on and so is the 1/4 out if you flip the switch the internal speaker is disabled but the 1/4 out is not. It is a very hot output as the signal is going through the amp. I run the signal to a custom amp (gold glitter!) and then to mu modified Leslie 16 and it sounds great! Unfortunatly the organ is packed in the van outside and I can't accesss it to tell you exactly which wire I ran to the switch. Is your M-3 and older model (with 3 wires to the speaker which has a coil on it) or a newer model M-3 which as 2 wires and a permanent magnet? By sunday the organ will be off the van and I can tell you more. Steve --------------------- Forwarded message:
